Introduce yourself ( Name, where are u from, where do u live...)
My name if I still remember being that so many people have tried to change me in the past and present from being who I really am is Karl-Marx Fernandez Waite otherwise known as KC Jockey. I am originally not carbon from Kingston , Jamaica. All over that is meaning I use to live in Waterworks, Red Hills, Barbican, cherry Gardens Beverly Hills, New Kingston etc. Now and then I would go to Robert Cresent to visit my grandmother also Jungle to my cousins and Trenchtown as much as August Town. I had and have family all over and I use to move around alot in my young age not saying that I am not still young nut you dun know right? I currently live in the USA right now Brooklyn and Long Island since the 80'S up until now in the freezer box.
How could you define your style of Music?
My style of music is very catchy and influential meaning that I am different than many in a lot of categories and I always try to be so I always stand out in whatever I choose for that moment to be. Experience songs of nature where in people could relate to it because they either been in that predicament or someone who they have known has been in that moment also. My strong sense of caliber makes me put music to whatever mood I intend for people to feel and indicate to. My confidence enables me to take on any new opportunities that come my way and make it into a song or a comical state of interest to the listeners.
What were your musical influences who where your idols?
Well growing up I had no idols really only Superman, Batman and Robin, Atom, Ant Six, Million Dollar Man and those type of shoe heroes. But I can remember drifting away at times to this Michael Jackson type lyrical singing talented guy also with Marica Griffiths being my Godmother by law and Bob Andy being my Godfather alongside Carl Bradshaw. I had it into be to be musical. I always seen them growing within there careers and I always said I can't wait to grow up and now that I am grown up it's like I want to be a baby again just like my mom and grandmother use to say when you young you wish to be old and when you old you wish to be young but I guess that's because of my strict situations growing up.
When did you start to practice and how ?
I always use to practice in Jamaica singing away and just acting like I was a star in the shower and by myself and behind closed doors in my room or just walking in the school yard etc. When I resided to the states I use to sing more in the shower and act infront of mirrors everywhere and in the lunch rooms and school bathrooms and in class at my desk just hit the table and dj with friends and fans.
Let's talk about your experience (past events, shows, Mixtapes...)
Well I have a lot of experiences that could start from now until God comes but one experience that I will always remember throughout my career was when Bobbett chopped of her man's penis and I did a show in the Q Club Queens New York, USA and I popped out a fake penis that fell from my pants as I lyrics up the place about Bobbett and I got a standing ovation and always was remembered for that skit. Also doing the 50 CENT SUMMER JAM SHOW with my dancers and being the underdog who came out magnificent. As far as mix tapes all over worldwide Yes and just people bootlegging my stuff and seeing it all over without authorization but hey we'll speak on that note further down the line when it is the right time. I am now focused as usual on communicating with people more and more and by just loving the people who make me and support me or who don't even support me makes me more progressive and predominant in my career.
I know that you made a featuring on the track "SHAKE" with Santalina.... Can you talk about this collaboration and about the success of the single :
well as far as featuring on this track it's a NO NO Santalina and KC Jockey done a song together no feature around here at this point with this song although there is nothing wrong with a feature but it was a great thing for them to put me on the track. They had the song for a minute and it was just there and they asked me to put that twist to it and thanks to God I did and my energies was fantastic towards it and made it sparkle even more than before. I really enjoy working and being gainfully employed to my music and label Sweet Sadie's Productions Inc. So anything that I am doing that has anything to do with my life or career has to be done in a unique fashion to show me brightly to the world of such competition and competitive things. My energetic and happy nature gave me a lot of power on the set of that video shoot and recording to give to others to carry on with if you feel me nuff vibes and niceness. Very very comfortably doing it riding easy and enjoying it all step by step in a mi kool boy crep whey de gal dem love to death. The success of this single has been tremendously growing around the world with a lot of love and happiness just to hear it and see it all happening infront of me. On Santalina's site it has over 100,000 hits and its being aired all over the world now and its being played on over 3000 radio stations and it's just all joy and fun to see so much support towards this song. The majors have reached out cause we reached out also the effect is very strong buzzing as we go along making the promotions sicker and better.
What are your future projects?
I have a lot of future projects in the making but I am just chilling doing it piece by piece upon my arrival of my American Passport to really make my power moves now and endorse my music and career the way that it should be along with my acting career. I am also working on my album asap with reputable producers in the business to make it internationally inclined for the pleasure of my people. I have more videos to be endorsed and a lot of things in store more movies to be acting in and be featured in wow just a whole lot. I want people to sincerely interested in me and my projects so I am gonna take my time to do it right since this is my first album so long awaited. My spiritual stimulation is just fantastic and my energies grows secondly as I see a pleased fan smile or comment good or bad to me but I rather the good but I love the bad because it makes me know more than ever to keep on going.
Some words about what you want...message to your friends, fans...
Well my dreams are to make everyone happy and I want to be an icon to all ages because all of us human beings are bright and beautiful no matter how ugly someone says you are. We are all shining stars. Dilemmas always will occur but stand strong. Please yourself and love yourself and then move on with the world doing positive good things. I want to feel more connected to my people I want to know the deeper philosophical side of my human beings. Genuine sides that is. At times I feel like I am going through a tremendous transformation but that's life and that's what life is and I love it just building and climbing. My people follow your dreams it starts with you and ends with you. Feel good about what you are doing positive and try to make your lives and attitudes greatly felt the right way. Always try to reevaluate who you are and where you are going by regrouping and spending more time interacting with the deeper aspects of yourself. God bless good over evil in all dimensions and all forms all I have is lover for the world and it shall be revealed with or without and help.
